DEEP is working Since 1991 is an out come of some socially committed young social activist who are determined to fight against equity, social justice and upliftment of down trodden particularly in the remotest and most backward area of the West Champaran district having early intervention among “THARU” community who have recently been enlisted as schedule tribe after a long battle.

Local self governance and empowerment of Panchayti Raj Institutions through educational and enabling initiatives is the core area of intervention to organize the most under privilege one at community level.

Experiences of working among “THARU” a female dominated society enrich DEEP’s approach towards Gender equity and find proper place in all of our initiatives. Enabling the marginalise through education and communication initiatives, DEEP is committed to ensure the participation and comprehensive intervention towards development.
